The crowdfunded interview platform IdeaMensch recently hosted InnovaCare’s CAO, Penelope Kokkinides for a talk. In this interview, Kokkinides talked about her entrepreneurial journey, the challenges and triumphs. She pointed out that since her appointment as the CAO of InnovaCare Health, her day has been quite busy and long. She picked out her smartphone and tablet as the essential items that help her push throughout the day.
On what she thinks is of the most important tool for any entrepreneur, Penelope picked out getting timely updates about the industry one is invested in. She believes that having timely information updates on the progress of the markets will give an upper hand. Having the upper hand, she says, will mean that you will always make the best out of every deal and make the best business decisions.
InnovaCare Health CAO also suggested that according to her, the best way for any entrepreneur to make it in their field is to have a great team. She said that having a great team will be essential in developing ideas and also ensuring their successful implementation. Kokkinides encouraged budding entrepreneurs to develop a habit of pre-planning there next day before going to bed. She says that this will ensure that you run your day smoothly and do everything you had planned to do.
Penelope Kokkinides’ career
Penelope Kokkinides had a pretty great career before joining InnovaCare Health in 2015. She previously worked as the Executive V.P and Chief Operating Officer at CenterLight Healthcare. At this position, Penelope was responsible for overseeing strategic direction and management of managed care division. She also spent some time at AmeriChoice as Care Management and Disease Management as the Vice President. At this position, Penelope played a significant role in the development and the implementation of the iconic health model of the company.
