Cancer Treatment Centers of America Provide Answers to Cancer Patients

The Cancer Treatment Centers of America are proud to announce that they have partnered with NantHealth and AllScripts is implementing a new custom technical program that allows oncologists to use a new system to help each other in treating patients with colon cancer. The entire program will take place electronically through a program allowing the physicians to work together to help share treatments they are providing patients to see if they can work together to come up with something that is a better treatment for each individual patient. The doctors will be able to upload treatments and symptoms each patient had and provide each other with information that may be able to help other patients in their fight against cancer while helping increase their chances of survival through the disease.

Cancer Treatment Centers of America are headquartered in Baton Rouge, Florida and is a national, for-profit network of five hospitals that are spread across the country and treat all various kinds of cancers. They provide surgeries for patients across the US as well as they help manage symptoms and provide treatment to those who are not receiving surgeries. These procedures include chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy as well to further help treat various types of cancers. The CTCA was founded back in 1988 and since four other hospitals have opened, which provides locations now in Philadelphia, Tulsa, Zion (Illinois), Goodyear (Arizona), and Newnan (Georgia) to provide cancer patients with various options that span across the country. They CTCA is still growing in size and is providing funding continuing to find more solutions to the issues that are underlying the diagnosis of cancer and what can be used to treat it.
